Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zombie AI Video ("we", "us", "our"), available at zombieaivedio.com, collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our website and AI video generator (the "Service"). The short version: we use your photos only to make your video, we don't sell your data, and we don't use your photos to train AI models.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address and profile picture when you sign up with email or a third-party login such as Google. We store a hashed version of your password, never the password itself.

Photos you upload. The one or two photos you upload to create a video, along with the options you choose (mode, scene, length and aspect ratio).

Videos we generate. The videos created from your photos, which are stored in your account so you can view and download them.

Consent records. A record that you ticked the consent checkbox before each generation, with a timestamp, so we can show that consent was given.

Payment information. When you buy credits or subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your order details, the plan you bought and your payment status, but we never see or store your full card number.

Credits and usage. Your credit balance, credit purchases and spending, generation history, and support tickets you submit.

Device and log data. IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring site (including UTM tags) and timestamps. We use this for security, abuse prevention and to understand how the Service is used.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language and theme. If we use analytics or advertising cookies, they are only used to measure and improve the Service.

How we use your photos

Your uploaded photos are used only to generate the video you requested. To do that, we send them to our AI video provider, fal.ai, which runs the video model (Kling O1 reference-to-video) and returns the finished video to us.

We do not:

• use your photos or videos to train AI models;
• sell, rent or share your photos with advertisers or data brokers;
• publish your photos or videos anywhere. Only you can see them in your account, unless you choose to share the video yourself;
• use your photos for facial recognition or to identify you.

fal.ai processes your photos as our service provider, only to run the generation, and handles them under its own data-processing and security terms.

How we use your other information

• To create and manage your account and sign you in.
• To generate videos, store them in your account and let you download them.
• To process payments, grant credits and manage subscriptions.
• To automatically refund credits when a generation fails.
• To respond to support requests.
• To send service emails, such as password resets, receipts and important changes. We only send marketing emails if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service, including attempts to upload photos of minors or of people without their consent.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How long we keep your data

• Uploaded photos: kept only as long as needed to generate your video and to let you retry a failed generation, then deleted automatically, normally within 30 days.
• Generated videos: kept in your account until you delete them or close your account.
• Account, credit and order records: kept while your account is open. Payment and tax records may be kept for longer where the law requires it.
• Consent and abuse-prevention records: kept for as long as reasonably necessary to protect people whose likeness may have been misused and to respond to complaints.
• Logs: kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, including your photos and videos, within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.

Who we share data with

We only share data with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as much as they need:

• fal.ai: AI video generation (receives your uploaded photos and generation settings).
• Stripe: payment processing and subscription billing.
• Cloud hosting and storage providers: to host the website and store your account data, photos and videos.
• Email delivery provider: to send account and service emails.
• Authentication providers (such as Google), if you choose to sign in with them.
• Analytics providers: to measure site usage in aggregate.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others (for example, someone whose photo was uploaded without consent), or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

We do not sell your personal information.

Photos of other people and children

You may only upload photos of yourself or of adults who have given you permission. You must never upload photos of anyone under 18. If we learn that a photo of a minor or a non-consenting person has been uploaded, we will delete it and any videos made from it, and we may close the account.

If you believe your photo was used on Zombie AI Video without your consent, email support@zombieaivedio.com and we'll investigate and remove it.

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data or your account;
• export your data in a portable format;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent at any time;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

You can delete individual videos from your account at any time. For anything else, email support@zombieaivedio.com, and we'll respond within 30 days.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect data transferred internationally.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, hashed passwords and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you, as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. For material changes, we'll notify you by email or on the site before they take effect.
